The La Marseillaise tower is the major element of the new maritime facade of Euroméditerranée in Marseille, the largest European urban renewal project in the city center.
As part of the major design-build consortium, the firm acted as the architect for the project, providing all its expertise in the technical and architectural aspects.
The ultra-high performance fiber-reinforced concrete sunbreakers, colored according to the orientation of the facades on the surrounding landscape, give this tower an unprecedented kinetic dimension.
The “geometric” raw concrete core is the backbone of this high-rise building (IGH), which rises to a height of 135 m and also has several levels planted with trees at its base, two-thirds of the way up, and on the top levels.
Located on the quays of Arenc, this office tower, 135 m high was designed by Jean Nouvel, winner of the Pritzker Prize.
