It is with great pride that we participated, on January 21, in the laying of the first stone of the Pôle Éducatif des Passons, in the presence of Mr. Mayor Gerard Gazay, Jacques Del’Guidice, Inspector of National Education, and Emmanuel Dujardin, President of ROUGERIE+TANGRAM.
This project designed in association with the archi5 agency, marks a major urban transformation for the Passons district. More than just a facility, this center embodies a new centrality, where educational ambition, versatility of uses and ecological exemplarity are combined.
A strong commitment to the environment:
Bioclimatic design, local and sustainable materials, such as brick, symbol of the historical roots of Aubagne.
On-site manufacture of 500 m² of compressed earth brick (BTC) partitions from the excavated earth from the construction site, a process with minimal carbon impact.
Optimized management of rainwater and integration of the site into a green corridor that extends the neighboring park.
A place designed for everyone:
The center will bring together a school group, an arts and leisure center, and a neighborhood life center, allowing for the pooling of facilities while respecting the autonomy of each entity.
A huge thank you to all the partners and stakeholders involved in this adventure! We look forward to seeing this innovative project come to life in September 2026 and become a model of sustainable and human architecture.
