This elementary school project embodies the alliance between Provençal tradition and contemporary innovations, thus creating a place conducive to the development of students.
The buildings are organized in longères, thus creating an atmosphere of a small hamlet. The green spaces are carefully designed to promote biodiversity and invite students to interact with nature.
Its design is sober while favoring natural materials such as wood and rammed earth. As for ventilation, “natural double flow” ventilation chimneys are carefully integrated into the building, allowing efficient evacuation of hot and stale air in summer while promoting cross ventilation during the cooler months.
All the materials and techniques implemented are oriented towards a logic of reduced maintenance and durability over time.
