The future school group of Castelginest takes the form of a cocoon open to nature.
Its volumetry, simple and dynamic, is inspired by the sparse agricultural buildings found in the neighboring countryside.
This morphological simplicity allows an immediate understanding of the functioning of the project: parallelepiped volumes slide between large partition walls to offer, in a global coherence, a contextualization of each facade with its immediate environment.
The materials meet the objective of sustainability of the building with minimum maintenance.
They assume their local heritage by proposing a current and contemporary implementation. In this spirit, they are, as much as possible, left in their natural state: bricks of the walls decorated with moucharabieh and zinc on the roof in particular.
