The Shenzhen Maritime Museum enjoys a privileged location between the mountains of the Dapeng Peninsula and the sea of Longqi Bay.
The facility is composed of four main thematic exhibition areas: Natural Ocean, Marine Culture, Ocean Technology, Great Bay.
It also offers temporary exhibition spaces but also a center for education in maritime culture, a collection and exhibition center on marine resources, as well as a research center dedicated to marine sciences.
