Winner of the international competition launched by the Egyptian government and UNESCO; this underwater museum concept is the first in the world to offer its visitors a journey under the sea in the heart of the Bay of Alexandria to discover its archaeological wonders.
Located near the new Library of Alexandria, it consists of a vast Agora overlooking the bay along the cornice and a large underwater hall housing a large aquatic scenographic space presenting the remains of Cleopatra’s palace, the port of the Royal galleys, and the ancient city of Canopy.
