A technological challenge unique in the world: the aerial diving pit allows visitors to observe the divers, who appear to be suspended in mid-air, from both inside and outside the building.

The building symbolizes a luminous water cube, structured by large glass façades that let in a lot of light in the heart of the large pool hall. It is composed of a blue base and perforated metal cladding, like water bubbles. The ensemble evokes the effects of aquatic waves and allows the inner life of the place to be perceived in transparency.

The aquatic and sporting architectural symbolism take on its full dimension with the underwater space. The diving pit creates a unique attraction for visitors, divers and restaurant customers and gives the building a strong identity. The management of the geometry of the spaces and orientations reinforces the environmental and energy quality of the facility: natural ventilation, solar heat gain, solar and acoustic protection.
