Place des Capucines, formerly the Reformés door, has a rectangular plan with a baroque trident in the centre, giving access to the old town of Marseille.
Without changing the historical composition of the square, the project proposes a new reading of it, freeing it from the proliferation of cars and making it accessible to pedestrians.
The space is then perceived in its entirety, enhancing heritage elements such as the fountain by the sculptor Fossati, the beautiful buildings that border the square and the landscape perspective in the axis of the Réformés Church.
