Inaugurated in 1961, Terminal 1 had not undergone a major transformation for 30 years. With an investment of 210 M€, the Coeur d’aéroport project is the most structuring that Aéroport Marseille Provence has seen since then, with the challenge of rehabilitating the historic buildings and linking them to the heart of the airport, while continuing to welcome some 30,000 passengers a day during the construction phase.
